Meeting MinutesOctober 12, 2004 Meeting Start Time: 7:05pm 7:05Attendance was passed around. 7:06List-serv - If you are not on the list-serv please put down your e-mail on the attendance sheet. - If you have any problems with the list-serv, please see Rachel. Coming Out Week - Thank you to everyone who participated and helped out with everything last week!! - Special thanks to people who showed up for GRASP on Thursday. 7:07PODER - A GRASP program has been requested, and panelists are needed. - If you are available on Wednesday, October 20th at 5pm and want to be a panelist, please see Rachel before that time. 7:08Cobalt Parties - Starting Wednesday October 13th, the club is having parties at Cobalt every Wednesday night. - The door opens at 10pm. $2/drink specials. There will be a drag show consist of Venuz, Jewel Nikita, and the host Danae. - This is considered as a fundraiser for the club. Half of the door charge will come to our club. 7:10SA Spirit Week - As a SA club, we are required to have certain amount of SA points. We can receive these points by participating in the SA Spirit Week. - We are required to do the Parade on Saturday the 16th during half time of the football game. If anyone is interested please see Tara before. We will be meeting at 2pm by the tennis courts outside of the stadium. - Date Auction will be on Friday night the 15th at 10pm in the SU lobby. The auctionee and the buyer will both receive free Sphere tickets. If anyone is interested please see Tara. - There’s also banner making and a chicken wing eating contest. 7:16Halloween - The club has always won the office decoration contest every year since the contest first began. - The winners will receive a trophy, and a pizza party. - A Halloween committee will be formed lead by Chad for this purpose. If anyone is interested please see Chad. 7:21Thanksgiving Potluck - The club will be doing the annual Thanksgiving potluck again this year, hopefully on Saturday, November 20th in the Flint Community Lounge. - There will be a sign-up, please write what food everyone is bringing. - The Club will be providing the turkey. 7:24Democratic National Campaign Committee - The Committee need volunteers to help out on October 28th – November 2nd to get out and vote days. - If you need more information please contact Hagaai at (716) 856-3988 or hagaai@dccc.org 7:28Open Floor - Mallory will be coming in for our meetings to observe the group dynamics for her Group Behavior class. No specific information will be taken down. - Michael is from the LGBTPM, a grad medicine GLBT club on campus. This is not just limited to grad students.
