(6:00) INTRODUCTIONS WITH NAMES, MAJORS, AND WHAT WE WANT TO SEE COME FROM GROUP.

(6:36)- Amy asked for requests or questions Marc, Adam, Joey, Tiffany, and Tanya

Marc's question: Web-site update??? Queer Zoo? Coop housing?

Adam- good time for meetings? Beryl- mentioned Wednesday's after 4 Chelsea-Support group will we start it back up? Passed around sign up sheet. Joey-Board to continue it or no? help support LGBTA feedback good or bad?

(6:40) brochure, mission, structure, orientation into group, safe place rules. Do we as a group want to train for this spot?

(6:43) Amy asked for feedback to take vote not to continue the board at this time.

(6:45)Tiffany from Dred Luv enterprises said not to discriminate others, Coming Out Day is great but DRY! we should ask for changes and work towards them instead of bitching about them. Dred Luv- has gay and lesbian dance troupe, singer (Shatika Malan) groups with in their organization that would like to perform on Coming Out Day on Oct. 11 2001 their doing a (Drag King show) on Sept. 28th place to be held isn't to be said yet.

GROUP ALL AGREED THAT THEY AND WHOEVER ELSE ARE WELCOME TO PERFORM

Beryl- asked for separate Coming Out Day planning meetings....first one to be held isn't set yet but will be posted soon

(6:50) Amy tells programs we offer:

Coming out support group- ran by Beryl and Adam

Man Sex- ran by Lorenzo and Aids Community Services, mens sex discussion group

P.E.A.R.L-ran by Chelsea, lesbian sex discussion group

GRASP-ran by Amy and Shaun.-outreach and homophobia can be organized for any where on campus talk to the leaders.

(6:53) Marc- asks if were doing gay jeans day ..where people wear jeans to support gays lesbians transgenders ect ect. group said yes to idea and day to be done will be posted when known.

RULES ARE NOW MADE FOR ROOM AND GROUP: -Shaun brought up-1# WELCOME EVERYONE MAKE THEM FEEL SAFE AND AT HOME.

-group brought up-2# NO SEX IN OFFICE (NONE)

-group brought up-3# CLEAN UP AFTER SELF AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO ALSO.

Andrea mentioned to say "In my opinion" instead of making a point to make others feel less in value

(7:03)Amy mentions to make every race, gender,sexuality ect welcome give everyone a chance to join group of friends to go out create a family among us all!

-6# DON'T OUT ANYONE Keith mentions when smoking go out side and clean up butts or terrace will be locked that ends the rules as of now!!!!!!

(7:08) Lorenzo talks about mansex must be over 18 discussions get explicit and visual "how can we raise money?" we have of now $7,882.00 and about 1,000 i account if have ideas MUST BE WILLING TO HELP SEE THEM EXECUTED

(7:10) Chelsea mentions PEARLS and says if have questions ask her she passed a sign up sheet for those interested.

(7:11) Amy told us our events as of now: Coming Out Day- Oct 11 Conference in the spring- 3 days, music, workshops date and time to be posted later.

Voting: must be an active member of group, attend 2 of the 5 meetings prior to voting (undergrads can vote not grads)

(7:15) elections to be held in 2 weeks for open or resigned spots on board....Must have time, capability, interest must remain high through out semester. take notes, stand in for officers must be willing to fill entire position to the fullest and above

(7:20) Shaun mentions "were only going to get what we put into the club" so kick some ass and get into gear

(7:20) Kevin " how can we get outside community involved?" we should post facts of queer youth on boards to aware others what we do.

(7:25) Andrea mentions day of silence and read poem its April 4th where you take a vow of 9 hours to be silent to represent the closeted community who are afraid to speak out.

(7:30) Amy asked if any final questions, there were none, meeting ended
