How To Join

UB IEEE Chapter Membership:
The IEEE UB Chapter is open to students at the University of Buffalo and other SUNY schools. Club funding comes from the UB Student Association and club fundraising efforts, there is not an additional fee to join. There is no induction process, you can show up and participate at any time. To join the listserv, please send an email to Michael D'Angelo.
Announcements of upcoming meetings and events are sent out via the list serve and are available on the website, just show up and start participating in any of these.
General meetings are announced via the club listserv.
Active membership is evaluated on a per semester basis. In order to be considered an active member, you must participate in at least one project or attend two or more events.
National IEEE Membership
Go to the national IEEE website and register. This costs $16-180 depending on the category you fall into. Membership gives you certain benefits, discounts and subscribes you to the IEEE Spectrum publication.
