WNED - "Be on TV" - Saturday, March 6
WNED is a public broadcasting station that depends on the support of viewers to run its programs. On March 6th, a group of Golden Key members ventured into downtown Buffalo to help out at the WNED station. During breaks between the programs, WNED held pledge drives, and asked the public to call in and pledge money in order to keep their programs on air. We had a blast answering these calls and helping WNED meet their pledge goals. To see pictures of the event, go to the Photo Gallery.
Adopt-A-School Program - September through December
Golden Key members tutored elementary and middle school students at St. Joseph's School and Westminster Public School 68, Monday through Friday, every week of the semester.
