If I had the money to pay someone an annual salary to hang out with me that wouldn’t sleep with me, it would be John Bornheim. The son of Flavor Flav, He first joined the team briefly in the spring of 2009, attending spring break. At that time, John “Flavor Flav II” Bornheim kept a low profile not making anyone on the team aware of his greatness. We often asked the question, is this quiet solitary man really related to Flavor Flav?
All of our questions were answered the following fall season, where the proof was in the pudding, or the disc race. After trying to hide his connection for so long from the team, the Flavorness started shining through just like the way his father speaks so eloquently. During a party at Binghamton, he uttered the phrase “I WANNA SEE A DISC RACE, I WANNA SEE SOMEBODY VOMIT”, after words with his trademark “yeahhhhh” and chuckle. He had troubles with F’s when he was younger, so he could not do his dad’s trademark catch phrase “flavor flaaaaaveeee”. He had to resort to randomly saying “BYAHHH”. However, he’s got game like his dad. Currently he is working on his first show for MTV called “Flavor Flaw Jr: Disc Race of Love”.
Bornheim quickly improved after joining the team full time in the fall of 2009. He caught on relatively fast for any ultimate player and was an important addition for the success of Green Eggs and Ham. Typically you can see him cutting down the field, with sun glasses, shouting ”BYAH” at opponents, frightening them into submission. After games, throngs of women can be found flinging themselves at him. This only helps the other not as good looking team members, as occasionally there may be some left to scavenge.
