The Animals & Environment division is looking for individuals who are interested in making a positive change in the environment and for the well being of animals. Look forward to working with environment, history, grounds/gardens care, grassroots organizations, and educating others about the environment around them. Volunteers will get what they put into their volunteer work, there are possibilities for lifelong volunteering or career opportunities, but whatever you choose, it will be a life experience. Organizations Ten Lives Club: "To promote,
further and enhance all cat life. We are an organization that
rescues and takes on homeless or personal pets no longer wanted. No
healthy animal that enters our program will be put down....Our
organization is trying to get the cat population in WNY under
manageable control by constantly promoting responsible pet ownership
that all domesticated animals need to be spayed and neutered. " Buffalo City Zoo:
CAC does various events for the zoo including raking leaves and
Halloween events. The zoo is located in Delaware Park and for just
volunteering, it is great
