The Community Action Corps is a student
community service organization, under the Student Association, of
the University of Buffalo. CAC is dedicated to enriching and
enhancing the education of UB students by promoting active
involvement in the volunteer and community service activities both
on and off-campus. We are committed to playing a positive role in
the UB community as well as in students' lives.
Volunteers can be placed in agencies all over Buffalo, for as
little as a few hours, to a year, or even a lifetime. Your
experiences to be gained from volunteering are as good as you make
them. Whether you are looking for pertinent job experience for a
resume, or for the joy that comes from making a difference in other
people's lives, the Community Action Corps has what you're looking
for.
Volunteer positions are available to students regardless of race,
age, gender, or physical ability.
