Welcome UB Pre-Health Students!

AED is a national, pre-health honor society with 117 chapters throughout the United States. Membership in AED is an honor bestowed in recognition of superior scholastic achievement, community service, and extracurricular participation. The criteria for acceptance are similar to that of health profession graduate schools. The admissions process is intended to appreciate the accomplishments of the complete individual. AED regularly sponsors programs that allow members to learn more about their chosen profession and meet people already established in the field. In addition, AED focus upon providing its members with research and service opportunities. Participation in chapter activities is an enlightening experience that promotes the development of knowledge, initiative, and leadership.

Welcome to the University at Buffalo AED website!

Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) is a nationally recognized Pre-Health Honor Society. It is our goal to promote the exploration of pre-health fields, and to prepare students to become future health professionals. Undergraduates who have been at UB for three semesters or more and have a GPA greater than 3.3 are encouraged to join and become official members.

We have some exciting plans for the 2011-2012 school year and hope that you will join us. Members and non-members (especially underclassmen), are always welcome to attend our events. Our first meeting will be September 7th 2011 . It will be a great opportunity to meet our club officers and learn what we have in store for the upcoming year!

Hope to see you there,

David Lloyd
