Ready to Sign Up You're now ready to sign up to participate in experiments.
  1. First, you will review running experiments and decide which one(s) you qualify to participate in. To do this, go to the Sign-Up Home Page . You will see a list of currently active experiments for which there are sessions scheduled.

  2. For each experiment that looks of interest to you, and which has available sessions, select the experiment by clicking on View Schedule.

  3. For the experiment number you have selected, review the information up top. Make sure you are qualified to participate in this experiment from the Selection Criteria, if any, listed. You also need to check that you haven't already participated in an experiment which disqualifies you for this one. For instance, you may only participate one time in most experiments You need to note the location of the experiment, and the contact information needed in case you have to cancel your appointment.

  4. If you are qualified to participate in this experiment, continue by reviewing the current schedule for the experiment on the lower half of the same web page. If there is an available session which you can make, click on Sign Up.

  5. After selecting "sign up," you will be prompted to sign in, using your login and password.

  6. If your log in was successful, the system will assign you to the session you picked and confirm your appoinment with a message on the web page, and with an email message sent immediately to your account.

A note about authorization codes. Some experiments are conducted by inviting students selected through mass testing results to participate. If you find an experiment that requires an authorization code to participate in, and you have not been contacted by the experimenter running that experiment and assigned a code, you cannot schedule any sessions for that experiment. The RPG Coordinator has nothing to do with participant selection and cannot provide authorization codes for any of these types of experiments.
