      I am currently a Masters student at the University at Buffalo.  Although I am a member of Dr. David Smith’s lab, my primary lab is Dr. Barbara Church’s Language and Memory lab.  It is there that I am working on my Masters thesis (an alternative method for priming non-words).  I joined Dr. Smith’s lab initially to obtain experience in programming and modeling since I recognized the great potential that modeling has to study psychological phenomena.  However, since then I have become interested in the issues he studies; specifically, how is categorization done and to what degree, if any, do monkeys share our meta-cognitive capabilities.
