University at Buffalo Programs At-A-Glance

UB Programs At-A-Glance (formerly the Rainbow Book) is an informal guide to the different areas of undergraduate study available at the University at Buffalo. The goals of this tool are to introduce students to our programs and to help them choose a course of study. The Academic Programs listing contains all major and minor programs available at the University at Buffalo, as well as a few tracks of study that students may want to pursue at the undergraduate level prior to applying to a professional program, such as law or medical school. Helpful links and information are also available on the Advising and Career Information pages of this site.

For official information about each discipline, as well as university policies and procedures, please refer to the University at Buffalo Undergraduate Catalog which corresponds to your admission year.

UB Programs At-A-Glance, departmental web sites, and departmental curricular and course information are maintained independently and do not necessarily reflect university-approved curricula and course information. In case of discrepancies between the UB Programs At-A-Glance, departmental information, and the university Undergraduate Catalog, the printed university Undergraduate Catalog is to be considered definitive.
