This application allows faculty to add a link to their syllabi directly from the online class schedule. This will allow students to make more informed choices when selecting their classes.
For 2005, the look and feel of the UBThisSummer site was updated. In addition, the code was rewritten to utilize web standards of XHTML for structure and CSS for presentation.
To guide incoming freshman through the academic orientation process, a series of three web-based teaching modules were created using web standards.
In addition to the yearly stylistic updates, the catalog now includes a listing of all undergraduate faculty generated from the oracle database that drives the catalog, At-a-Glance and academic bridge page sites. This site is featured on the Web Standards Project's Education Task Force's Resources Page.
A complete rewrite to address security concerns.
Several sites were re-coded to allow the use of Macromedia Contribute as a CMS, most notably the Student Response Center and Undergraduate Admissions sites.
