Types of Aid

There are four types of financial aid that you may be able to receive to offset your tuition costs. These include grants, loans, scholarships and work-study.

We have created to-do lists for prospective and current UB students that will help you be sure to explore all of your options for financial aid.

Once you have completed the process if you are a new undergraduate student you will receive award letter detailing the aid you are eligible to receive based on program eligibility requirements, new graduate/professional students and continuing students will be sent an email directing them to view their award online through the HUB Student Center via MyUB. You must accept, revise or decline your award by the deadline. Failure to accept aid by the stated deadline may result in the loss of some types of financial aid.

Information subject to change without notice due to changes in federal, state and/or institutional rules and regulations.
