USITT - The United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc. (USITT) is the association of design, production, and technology professionals in the performing arts and entertainment industry. The mission of USITT is to actively promote the advancement of the knowledge and skills of its members.
Actor's Equity Association - Actors' Equity Association, founded in 1913, is the labor union representing actors and stage managers in the legitimate theatre in the United States.
SSDC - The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers is a national independent labor union representing members throughout the United States and abroad.
IATSE - The IATSE is the labor union representing technicians, artisans and craftspersons in the entertainment industry, including live theatre, film and television production.
Screen Actor's Guild - The professional union representing actors of television and film.

Summer Work Opportunities

Forestburgh Playhouse - Since 1947, the mission of the Forestburgh Playhouse has been to provide young talent with the opportunity to grow by creating high quality theatrical productions. Located in the Catskill Mountains 2 hours north of New York City, this is an excellent 2 week summer stock theatre.
