Membership
is open to those persons interesting in furthering research
in early childhood education in the Pacific area.
While
no formal requirements are set, it is expected that membership
would include personnel from colleges, universities, research
institutes, ministries and/or departments of education, as
well as administrators of early childhood programs.
At
present there are no membership dues and no financial support
for the organization. The Association should be supported
by membership dues. Outside funding might be sought for particular
activities. Costs of conferences should be covered by registration
fees. Some startup costs for conferences and publications
might need to come from dues. Publications that might be developed
should be self-supporting. (Membership dues could include
a subscription to a journal or monograph series if it is developed)
Any publications develop should be juried.

there are total 389 registered members. They are from these
countries and regions: Australia,
