IGSA - Informatics Graduate Student Association

Baldy 14 Lab - Information, People, Technology
About the IGSA

The Informatics Graduate Student Association is a student run organization formed in 2003 designed to enhance the formal educational informatics program. We strive to bring together alumni, current and prospective students in order to bring the knowledge management of informatics to a critical mass, benefiting all involved.

Because the field is young, part of the goal of the IGSA is to increase awareness of the program and to demonstrate to the business community the strengths a holder of a Masters Degree in Informatics can bring to the corporate world. This is the basic tenet of informatics, bridging information and people together with technology.
