This interdisciplinary symposium will focus on the intersection of gender, activism, and artistic practice. Artists and scholars who navigate the boundaries between art, activism, and scholarship will come together for a series of panel presentations to consider how artists, both contemporary and historical, have engaged questions of gender equity, diversity, and inclusion in struggles for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.
