The 57th annual Scholarship Book Sale was June 1-5, 2011 and was the MOST SUCCESSFUL EVER!

. Sorting for the 2012 sale has begun at Kensington Bailey Neighborhood Services, 995 Kensington Avenue in Buffalo.

We will be there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am – 12:00 noon until we move into the sale site..

Books may be dropped off between 10 am and 11:30 am those days.

Around mid-April we will be moving to the booksale site - same location as last year!

 

2011 Sale information (for reference only)

Hours for the sale are 9am-8pm Wednesday thru Saturday and noon-5pm on Sunday.

Admission charges:
Wednesday morning (9am-1pm ) $10
Wednesday afternoon and evening (1pm - 8pm) $5
Thursday - Saturday (9am - 8pm) $1
Sunday (noon - 5pm) free

has been the nation’s leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls.

The Buffalo (NY) Branch of AAUW was founded in 1890, and is one of the largest branches in New York State with over 200 members. Our members represent women leaders from the arts, business, education, government, law, medicine, science, and technology.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
AAUW is open to all graduates who hold an associate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.

Proceeds benefit the national AAUW Educational Fund,
local scholarships, loans, & grants; and community outreach projects such as Tech Savvy and Sister-to-Sister.

Scholarship applications are available in the spring and fall.
