The Educational Opportunity Program encourages its students to take part in advocacy, and in the issues affecting them, not only as students, but as state residents and members of the United States populace.

We have provided a set of resources available for your purposes. We strongly encourage that you contact your local and state legislators and make them aware of issues that concern you. We also strongly encourage that, if you are a U.S. Citizen, 18 years of age or older, to register to vote.
