We just wanted to extend a special thank you to David Auda (Chairman) and Kevin Wilson (Student Chapters Liaison) both of ASQ for coming to campus Monday night. Both Kevin and David excitedly informed the assembled SCOM members about ASQ and the benefits of membership in ASQ.
Another exciting turn of events from tonight’s meeting is the formation of a student chapter of ASQ. It’s only just beginning, but Michael Zaccheo (SCOM ASQ Liaison) was named chairman, Yogita Kewalramani was named Vice Chairman and Deepak Goplani secretary. Congratulations all! Updates about the student chapter will be coming soon!
Other interesting updates from tonight’s meeting:
December 18, 2006: Visual, Numerical and Vocabulary Conundrums—Fun and thought provoking use of numbers, words & spatial arrangements that will entertain and enlighten. Thom Marra—Marra & Associates @ Salvatore’s. ASQ Buffalo will pick up the student fee for the dinners ($15.00 savings to the student). Student must have valid student I.D., ASQ membership card is preferred.
