About BPILP
The primary goals of the Buffalo Public Interest Law Program are:
- To promote concern for the participation in the public interest legal work in the greater Buffalo area and beyond providing University at Buffalo Law students with the opportunity to work in public interest law.
- To serve as a center for Buffalo public interest law groups in need of legal personnel by funding legal positions in public interest law.
- To educate the Buffalo community generally and Buffalo Law students particularly of the need for the practice of public interest law, and to provide information about present public interest law efforts.
