The Buffalo Criminal Law Society is pleased to announce the Twelfth Annual Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition, to be hosted by the University at Buffalo Law School on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Please remember that team spots fill up early, so be sure to get your registration materials in as soon as possible. Registration Materials for this year's competition will be available soon.

Named after the drafter of the Model Penal Code, the Wechsler Competition is the only national moot court competition in the United States to focus on topics in substantive criminal law. [Read about Professor Wechsler]. Problems address the constitutionality and interpretation of federal and state criminal statutes as well as general issues in the doctrine of federal and state criminal law.
