Article 77

A suspended sentence will be automatically revoked if the beneficiary commits a new intentional crime before the end of the trial period.

A suspended sentence can be revoked by judicial decree of the court that granted it, in the following cases:

a. When the beneficiary breaches one or mom of the conditions imposed;

b. When he commits a new intentional crime and the suspended sentence was entered for a crime of the same nature.

Instead of revoking the suspended sentence, the court may--in either of the preceding situations--extend the trial period, provided it does not exceed the maximum established in Article 76.
