In a judgment of conviction the court may, stating the reasons, suspend the execution of a sentence of imprisonment of two years. or less, provided that:
a. The convict is not a repeat offender.
b. He has shown good conduct befote and after the criminal act.
c. Based on the circumstances and characteristics of the crime, the predominant motivations, and a complete study of the convict's personality, he is not expected to commit new crimes.
A suspended sentence will not affect supplementary penalties.
