Article 18
In situations covered by the previous Articles, the infliction
of excessive harm will not be justified. However, the court may
reduce the sentence to not less than one third of the minimum
nor more than one third of the maximum legally established
for the crime in question.
Whoever inflicts excessive harm while justifiably excited or
perturbed under the circumstances, will not be punished.
