Article 100

A pardon extinguishes all or part of the punishment imposed, or converts it into a more benign punishment. Other consequences, ancillary to the punishment, are not affected by a pardon.

Supplementary penalties are extinguished by a pardon only when specifically included in the pardon.

A pardon cannot disqualify a convict from engaging in a profession or from exercising a civil or political right, or from holding a specific position, commission or employment.

A pardon cannot be granted without a prior and favorable report from the corresponding jurisdictional and specialized agencies.
