§ 501. Juveniles.
A prosecution of any person as an adult shall be barred if the offense was committed:
(a) when he was less than fifteen years old in any case, or when he was less
than sixteen years old in the case of offenses other than murder, aggravated
assault, rape and aggravated involuntary sodomy; or
(b) when he was less than eighteen years old unless trial as an adult is ordered by
the district court to promote justice.
