Friendship Partner Program
If you would like to get to know an American family and share friendship and cultural exchange, then this program is for you. International students often come to America
and never really get to know Americans other than some fellow students. And they rarely enter an American home to enjoy a home cooked meal. The stuff they see on TV or in the movies does NOT
accurately represent how most Americans really live.
We can connect you with very friendly families who will share some time and friendship with you. Often the friendships which result from this program are lifelong.
If you're interested in this program, please stop by the ISI office and fill out an application form. There is a brief orientation required when you sign up.
Welcome Dinners on August 21th ( Thu. at 6:30PM) and August 31st (Sunday at 6:00PM) at Harriman Hall, UB South Campus
are good opportunities to be matched with family.
