Location

The ELI is located in Baldy Hall on the UB North Campus, near the Graduate School of Education, Department of Communication, Department of Linguistics, and Lockwood Library. Students in the ELI programs are fully integrated into campus life. They pay fees and are entitled to the use of all university facilities, including libraries, computer laboratories, and recreational complexes, and they take part in the rich array of activities, both academic and non-academic, available to regular UB students. The city of Buffalo is located in Western New York, across the Niagara River from Canada and only 20 minutes by car from Niagara Falls. Buffalo is approximately one hour by plane from New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington, DC.
