The Center for Excellence in Global Enterprise Management was established in 1998 to deliver leading edge research driven by industrial need with results that have immediate practical impact. During the process, GEM delivers technology know-how so that enterprises not only benefit from the improvement of their operations, but also have the knowledge and skills needed to manage the improvements. Together, the GEM Center and its enterprise partners form a win-win strategic relationship.
