September 2002 - Entertainment Books
We are selling Entertainment Books in support of the SEFA campaign. Books are available now, and the cards and coupons can be used right away. The cost is $23 dollars (until October 31, then the price increases to $28). Acceptable payment includes either cash or check (payable to UB SEFA Campaign). October 28, 2002 - Cookie Bake-off Important Notice
The 2002 campus-wide SEFA Cookie Bake-Off, scheduled for Monday, October 28
in the Student Union, must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our
control. We do not plan to reschedule the event this year. If you know of
anyone who planned to participate or attend on Monday, we would appreciate
your sharing this information with them. We apologize for any inconvenience
this cancellation may cause.
Many thanks to those who registered to participate in the Bake-Off, to those
who planned to come partake of the "entries", and to those who worked so
hard in planning the event. Keep your ovens warm and your appetites eager,
though, as we plan for a bigger and better Bake-Off in 2003!
October 30, 2002 - Taste of SOPPS
School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is holding their 2nd annual 'Taste of SOPPS' at Hochstetter 333.
Tickets are $.25 each. All Entrees and Desserts range from 1 - 4 tickets. All proceeds benefit the United Way.
10 free tickets are available to those who donate an entree; 5 free tickets for anyone who donates a dessert.
Come, Eat and Vote for your favorite dishes!
Prizes will be awarded.

Join UB faculty, staff, and students as we participate in the United Way's tenth annual Day of Caring.
9/19/2002 -- "Giving Where We're Living" is the theme of the 2002 SEFA Campaign, Reporter
The official theme of this year's campaign is "Giving Where We're Living," a theme taken up by Erie County Sheriff Patrick Gallivan, who is chairing the United Way campaign in Erie County with his wife, Mary Pat. 10/4/2002 -- Important Information: Missing SEFA agency from the "Directory of Services".
It has come to our attention that the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International Buffalo Chapter was NOT included in this year's SEFA agency handbook-this was an ERROR. The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation is a SEFA agency and you can designate your SEFA dollars to this agency. Their SEFA agency code is 57659. The following is a brief description of the agency:
