RESPOND:
If you have never completed and returned your SEFA pledge form in the past, this year, we are asking you to step up and respond by simply returning the SEFA form, regardless of whether you choose to contribute or to decline.
GIVE:
If you have returned your SEFA pledge card in the past, but have never chosen to make a contribution, this year we are asking you to step up and make a gift of any size. Remember that payroll deduction is the easiest way to give, and that even a small gift taken out of each paycheck quickly adds up to a generous contribution.
INCREASE:
If you have been a regular giver to the SEFA campaign, this year we are asking you to step up and increase the size of your gift, as generously as you feel you can. Many university employees received salary increases this year. Perhaps you might consider increasing your gift by at least the same percentage as your salary increase.
1%:
If you are a regular and generous contributor to the SEFA campaign, but are not yet giving at the level of 1% of your salary, this year we are asking you to consider stepping up to this new leadership level of giving, named UB Gold. Making your gift as a percentage of your salary is an excellent way to give generously and to ensure that your gift continues to grow as your salary grows.
LEAD:
If you are a regular and generous contributor to the SEFA campaign, perhaps already giving at the 1% level, but not yet at the $500 or $1,000 level, this year we are asking you to step up to a leadership level gift of $500-999 (Pacesetter) or $1,000+ (Leader). Commitments at this level are enormously helpful to people in need, and are truly an example of leadership to the UB and local community.
