We are using 10Be dating to reconstruct the history of the western Greenland Ice Sheet margin near Jakobshavn Isbrae. Our goal is to constrain the forcing mechanisms of ice sheet response to climate change.

Our current efforts are focused on constraining the timing of glacier change during deglaciation and the Holocene in the Brooks Range, Arctic Alaska.

We have a long-standing interest in reconstructing glacier change on Baffin Island during the Holocene. Recent work is focused on fjord deglaciation rates and the response of glaciers to abrupt cold events.
