Welcome
to the UB Close Relationships Consortium (CRC) Webpage!
We
are a group of close relationships scholars in the psychology department
here at UB.
Our
goal is to promote the development of the science of interpersonal
relationships,
to foster interaction and collaboration among students and faculty, and
to provide the richest possible intellectual environment for training the
next generation of close relationships researchers.
Our core faculty include Joanne Davila, Frank
Fincham, and Sandra Murray. We study a broad range of relationships
at different developmental stages including dating couples, married
couples, and families. Our work encompasses both basic theoretical
and applied issues, and we provide students with the opportunity
and skills to research relationship processes in both normal and
pathological populations.
