Dilemmas in Clinical Medicine: IDM-701

Dilemmas in Clinical Medicine

DCM is the required 3rd yr ethics course at the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The format has changed in the 2002-2003 academic year. It is folded into each of the clinical clerkships (two sessions each in Medicine and Surgery; one session in all other clerkships). There are tworequired case write-ups per year (one in Medicine and one in Surgery). The cases are expected to be real patients the student encountered in the rotation.

A Case Report Protocol with sample write up is available on this website.

Currently enrolled students can obtain detailed information on the UBLearns webpage for the course.
