Great Lakes Program (GLP)
The mission of the Great Lakes Program is to develop, evaluate, and synthesize
scientific and technical knowledge on the Great Lakes ecosystem in support
of public education and policy formation.

Interdisciplinary
Programs (IDP)
IDP offers opportunities to focus on a particular thematic area of interdisciplinary
studies that overlaps departments in the Social Sciences and some within
the Natural Sciences. Studies in this program result in a B.A., B.S. or
M.S. degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary.

Provides an extensive compendium of information resources for research
in environmental science and engineering.

Transfer and Economic Outreach
Provides valuable assistance to business and industry by offering quick
and easy access to UB's vast network of resources and expertise, including
services, programs, facilities, centers, and licensable technologies.
UB Environmental Network
(UBEN)
UBEN is a student run, student led network of progressive organizations
and individuals whose aim is to uproot environmental injustices through
action and education.
UB Green
UB Green is the UB Campus Environmental Stewardship Initiative. Their
site gives information on campus environmental activity such as groups,
energy conservation, and recycling.
