PO Box 7232
Auburn CA, 95604

16 pp., $1.00

Subtitled "a magazine for the aspiring writer," this one centers on short stories and poems, wedged between normal ads. Although this issue is rather thin and the print is large, all pieces have a refined flavor and a contented tone prevails. There is no darkness and horror, only brightness and hope. Forget about riveting cadences and float: "The wings of my soul are/ spreading wider/ reaching higher/ than the prayer of a sinless child."--R.R. Lee Etzwiler
