Currently: I am studying for my Ph.D. in Design & Optimization.

Previous Graduate Degree: M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan

I chose UB because it is a famous university in my country of Taiwan. Many of the researchers and teachers in Taiwan universities graduated from UB. The faculty in the MAE department is really professional in their focus areas. The courses are very solid, and students can really learn something. Also, UB's MAE graduate school has a good ranking and was affordable for me. After I finish my degree I plan to find a research or teaching job at a university.

There are interesting things to do in the Buffalo area. Lake Erie's landscape is beautiful, and Niagara Falls is also very close to UB.
