The M.S. Program emphasizes advanced economic theory and skills. Half of the M.S Program is Econometrics (statistical tools applied to economic problems).

The PhD Program has a strong quantitative emphasis. Most graduates pursue academic teaching and research careers; some work in federal, state, or local government here or abroad, and others obtain positions in the private sector. For more information on the PhD program, click here.
