of Former Generic SAS Syntax Workshop
SAS is a powerful, well-known interactive and batch
oriented statistical package. The objective of this workshop was to
provide an overview of SAS conventions and capabilities including
data input, manipulation, and transformation. You will find syntax on how
to subset variables and observations, save and use SAS datasets,
and write syntax for a limited number of procedures. Simple SAS
jobs are demonstrated. Use these pages as a review of SAS syntax.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with research methods, statistical
techniques, and data analysis procedures.
