Dedication to "Kuch"

On Wednesday, March 31st 1999, Academic Services Computing and Information Technology held a ceremony in memory of Richard Kucharski. Last fall a blue spruce was planted in the Hamilton Loop at the suggestion of Dick's children. A plaque has been placed besides the tree stating: A loving tribute to a great man Richard "Kuch" Kucharski 1938 - 1997 CIT Staff and friends attended the ceremony which was followed by refreshments in the Computing Center. As the tree grows it will remind us of the fond memories we shared with our friend Dick.
