QuickTime for Mac

Introduction
QuickTime software allows you to watch movies, listen to music, and view still pictures as well as streaming video from the Internet.
Downloading QuickTime
- QuickTime can be downloaded at: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/mac.html.
- In the Download the Free Player section of the page, deselect any options you do not want, enter your email address in the Email Address field, then click Free Download Now.
- Click Save File .

- When the download finishes, click Open next to the file in the Downloads window. If the Downloads window does not appear, press Command (Apple) j to view it.

Installing QuickTime
- If you have an anti-virus client installed, such as Symantec AntiVirus, it may inspect your files as they decompress. Please wait while this process completes.

- The QuickTime 7.0 installer mounts to temporary filespace within the Finder. This mount space should open automatically. Double-click the file named QuickTime70.pkg to begin the installation process.

- Click Continue to begin the QuickTime 7 installation process.

- Click Continue.

- Read the Software License Agreement, then click Continue.

- If you understand and agree to the license agreement, click Agree.

- Select where you want to install QuickTime, then click Continue.

- Click Install.

- Enter your Administrator Password, then click OK.

- Click Continue Installation.

- Please wait while QuickTime 7.0 installs on your computer.

- Save any documents you may have open, close all running programs on your computer, then click Restart to restart your computer and complete the QuickTime installation.
