Introduction
Fugu is a secure File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client for Mac. It can transfer files to and from remote servers, as well as connect to such UB-specific resources as UBUnix or your UBFS space.
Obtaining Fugu
- Select Save to Disk, then click OK.
- Press Command (Apple) j to bring up the Firefox Downloads window. When the download finishes, click Open next to the downloaded file to begin installing.
Installing Fugu
- Read through the License Agreement that appears when the Fugu installer first opens, then click Agree to continue.
- The Fugu installer will decompress files and create a mount drive. Then, Symantec AntiVirus may scan necessary files for viruses. When these processes are complete, the new mount space will open and display the Fugu icon.
- You can access the mount space containing Fugu at any time by double-clicking on its icon on the Desktop, or accessing it through the Finder. You can also choose to drag the Fugu icon onto your Desktop, which will transfer the temporary mount files to your computer's hard drive. You can then delete the Fugu mount and open the program by double-clicking on the Fugu icon.
