Authorware Web Player 2004

Introduction
Authorware Web Player 2004 is a multi-purpose media player that is used for various animations, games, or interactive applications on the Web. It is primarily used for educational services available through the Internet.
Obtaining Authorware Player
- If you are obtaining Authorware Player from the UB Tech Tools 2006 CD, continue to step 3. Otherwise, visit the UB Tech Tools Software Downloads page at http://wings.buffalo.edu/computing/software.
- Click Multimedia Players under the Windows heading on the left sidebar, then click Authorware, Flash & Shockwave.
- Click Get all three downloads.
- Scroll down to the Authorware section of the page, then click Authorware Web Player 2004 in the Netscape column.

- Click the Download Now button.
- Make sure that the Save to Disk option is selected, then click OK.
- When the download finishes, click Open next to the Authorware setup file in the Downloads window. If the Downloads window does not appear automatically, press Ctrl j to open it.

Installing Authorware Player
- Read the End-User License Agreement, then click Accept to continue.
- Close any open browser windows, then click Next.

- Make sure that any web browsers you want to work with Authorware are highlighted, then click Install.

- Please wait while the necessary files copy to your computer.

- When a screen appears confirming that the installation has completed, you have successfully completed the Authorware Web Player installation. Click Finish to exit the installer.

Note
You should install all web browsers that you intend to use on your computer before installing Authorware.
