Microsoft Windows XP - Disabling Bridges

Platform: Windows

Introduction

A network bridge connects two or more separate network segments. If your computer has two network connections, these connections may be bridged. However, a network bridge may inhibit your ability (and that of others) to connect to the University at Buffalo's network and also damage the network itself.

Disabling Bridges

  1. Click start, then select Control Panel.
