Introduction
Flash is a media format that encompasses various graphics and animations. It is used frequently across the World Wide Web, often embedded in various web pages. Flash Player allows you to view Flash media applications, granting you access to various animations and interactive games posted on the Web.
Downloading Flash Player 9.0
- Flash Player 9.0 can be downloaded at:http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer
- Click the Download Now button.
- Click the Download Now button.
- When the Opening window appears, select save to disk, then click ok.
- When the download finishes, click Open next to the file in the Downloads window. If this window does not automatically appear, press Ctrl j.
- A new window containing the installer file will appear. Double-click on the Install Flash Player 9 Universal icon.
- A new window containing the installer file will appear. Double-click on the Install Flash Player 9 Universal icon.
Installing Flash Player 9.0
Note
Install any browsers for which you want Flash capabilities before installing Flash Player.

When the Install Flash Player 9 window appears, click Install.
- Please wait while Flash Player 9.0 installs on your computer.
- When the installation is complete, a web page with an animated movie advertising Adobe Flash Player will appear. If this movie appears correctly, Flash Player 9.0 has been successfully installed on your computer.
