Prospective students:
should consult the TAURUS web site. They can also send in an application and when they are admitted, they will then receive information about how to request articulation.
Admitted students: should refer to the letter from the Transfer Council which was included with their offer of admission. It includes instructions on how to request course articulation. The attached flyer describes the process.
Current UB students:
Should fill out the articulation form available on the TAURUS web site, attach course descriptions and course syllabi to the form and send the articulation request to the department that teaches the requested course/s.

The General Education
Office provides 'core courses' in World Civilizations,
American Pluralism, and Great Discoveries in Science
to all students enrolled at the University at
Buffalo. The Office provides faculty facilitating
these courses with curriculum assistance, office
assistance, and faculty development programs.
General education
focuses on a broad array of skills, knowledge,
and issues that the university’s faculty
considers to be particularly important for all
college graduates. The program is intended to
help students prepare for success and fulfillment
in a continually changing world. General education
complements the departmental major. The major
provides depth of study in a particular area of
specialization and prepares students for particular
careers or for advanced study.
