(Fibonacci Series) A cylinder is a 2-dimensional expansion of a circle, and a sphere is a 3-dimensional expansion of a circle. The ratio of proportion between a sphere and the cylinder which encloses it is 2:3. As The 5 Platonic Solids advance in size they alternate vertices to edges and faces to edges ratios of 2:3.
