Dilemmas in Clinical Medicine
DCM is the required 3rd yr ethics course at the UB School of Medicine and
Biomedical Sciences. It is a "course within a course" folding clinical
ethics into each of the 6 clerkhips of the 3rd yr. Students are required
to select and write up one case from each clerkship. The cases are then
discussed during a small group discussion.
Course information is found in the
Frequently Asked Questions sheet, including a
Case Protocol. A
sample case write-up is also available, as is a listing of relevant
MEDLINE MeSH headings.
Previous FAQ sheets and other course material are found in the course
archive.
