If your grade was not posted, it is because you are in a group of students that require additional review (e.g., double checking exam scores, checking Scantrons for excessive erasures and other marks, checking medical documentation for missed exams) and your grades will be submitted when available to the University Records Office (You'll have to access your course grade through UB SOAR (Student Online Access to Records or by telephone using BIRD -- this list will NOT be revised.). Meanwhile, in addition to the usual holiday greetings I am receiving the typical round of 'dump' questions about "how can I change my course grade?" The answer is simple: repeat the course and study harder next time! There are no extra credit activities available for this course and time prohibits responding to most inquiries regarding these types of issues.

This course was designed to provide background in behavioral neuroscience
for psychology majors and should normally be taken early in your academic
studies (e.g., second year) prior to advanced courses in this area. There
was wide range of students enrolled in the course, ranging from premed.
and postgraduate students to students with majors in other departments
(e.g., art, history). Students with backgrounds in the physical sciences
generally found the course too easy, while some students found this the
first academically rigorous course of their undergraduate careers. Hopefully,
everyone who passed the course learned something and feels a sense of accomplishment
from completing a difficult course.
